Kid-friendly Fun:

Little Savers Bank & Market

Kids can bank on having fun in this immersive environment, complete with an interactive safe, safety deposit boxes housing hidden treasures, and a teller window for receiving deposits. Roaming piggy banks add a touch of whimsy! They can also arrange "stained glass" tiles on the bank façade, exchange play money at the cash drawer, play vault Plinko, and learn about balancing using tabletop scales. At the market, kids can shop from produce bins, play cashier, barter, and practice budgeting, blending fun with practical financial skills.

Art on Display

Marina Barrett

Wool

November 1-December 31

Using wool techniques of their own making, this artist gives their art unusual depth and airiness. Each piece is a textural portal to cherished memories, inviting viewers into the tangible landscapes of recollection and imagination.

Douglas County Libraries supports the arts by featuring stunning public art and donating display space at select branches for local artists.
