The 2021 DCL Reading Challenge Is Here!

We're excited to present our sixth annual reading challenge, with all-new categories to give your reading life a lift in 2021.
As in years past, there are 12 fun categories—one for each month. And if one book satisfies more than one challenge item, you can mark both off your list! We hope you discover some amazing new books, authors, and genres to broaden your reading.
If you need ideas for books that satisfy the challenge items, ask a DCL staff member or browse the titles and lists below. Once you've finished the challenge and submitted your completed form, you'll be entered to win a prize. You may also download a Reading Challenge kit.
